Examination for Registration to Practise Dentistry (ERPDS) in Sri Lanka – Part I, October/November 2026

The Sri Lanka Medical Council announces the timetable and examination instructions for the Examination for Registration to Practise Dentistry (ERPDS) in Sri Lanka, Part I – October/November 2026.

Theory Examination

The theory examination will be held from 10 to 12 November 2026 at the Mini Auditorium 3, Level 5, UCFM Tower, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, No. 9/52, Maradana Road, Colombo 08.

• Paper I – Clinical Dentistry: 10 November 2026, 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

• Paper II – Clinical Dentistry: 11 November 2026, 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

• Paper III – Clinical Dentistry: 12 November 2026, 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.

Practical Examination – OSCE

The OSCE will be held on 13 November 2026, from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m., at the OSPE Exam Hall, 8th Floor, UCFM Tower, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, No. 9/52, Maradana Road, Colombo 08.

Please Note

1. Only candidates will be admitted to the examination premises.

2. Candidates must report to the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

3. Candidates with symptoms of a respiratory tract infection are expected to wear a face mask, follow hygienic practices and inform the examination staff of their condition.

4. Candidates must bring their ERPDS Index Card, Admission Card and one of the following identification documents for identity verification: NIC, Passport or Driving Licence.
