Examination for Registration to Practise Medicine (ERPM) – Parts B and C & Part II – August/September 2026
Applications are called for ERPM Part B (Clinicals), Part C (Emergency Viva Voce), and Part II (OSCE), to be held in August/September 2026. Applications must be submitted in person at the SLMC between 20 and 31 July 2026.

Applications are called for:
- ERPM Part B — Clinicals
- ERPM Part C — Emergency Viva Voce
- ERPM Part II — OSCE
Application Submission
Applications must be handed over personally by the applicant at the Sri Lanka Medical Council office on working days, from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., between Monday, 20 July 2026 and Friday, 31 July 2026.
Late applications will not be accepted.
Eligibility
ERPM Parts B and C
Candidates who have completed ERPM Part A under the Medical Track (Medicine and Paediatrics) and/or Surgical Track (Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynaecology).
ERPM Part II
Candidates who have:
- Successfully completed ERPM Part I; or
- Successfully completed ERPM Parts A and D.
Important Information
- Applications for ERPM Part B must be submitted subject-wise for Medicine, Paediatrics, Surgery, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Applications for ERPM Part C must be submitted track-wise for the Medical Track and/or Surgical Track.
- Candidates applying for ERPM Part II must apply for the OSCE.
- Applicants should apply for all eligible subjects or tracks that they have not previously passed.
- Applicants must submit their application personally and produce the required original documents for verification.
